If I enter @ SW replaces with @ (create in Doc Source mode, switch to Design and then back to Doc Source, and there it is).

If I wanted @, I'd type in @. I don't see any option to control this annoying behavior.

If you're saying that the switch to design view changes it, there's nothing we can do to fix that problem. Design view uses Microsoft code that most likely is doing the conversion internally. Sorry.
