Highlight without destroying syntax coloring

Is it possible to use a SpanIndicator to JUST change the background color of some text -- leaving then foreground text still syntax colored?

If not -- any other suggestions?

Good timing... Actually we've added that for the next maintenance release. With that you'll be able to pass in a HighlightingStyle with Color.Empty and it will use the token fore color.

well hopefully the release is in a few days -- i have a customer demo comin up and would like to show that off...
The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 4 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
