UI Studio under source control

Are there any issues using UI Studio components under source control (specifically SourceSafe)?

Every time I open my form in the designer, it triggers a checkout of the license file and the form. This seems to be specific to forms containing controls from the UI Studio.

Also, if I do decide to edit the form (and thus need it checked out), why does the license file also check itself out?

It's not us that is doing that but rather it's a "feature" of Visual Studio. If Visual Studio sees any licensed component (from any company) that uses the .NET framework licensing mechanism on a Form that you open, it will try and update the licenses.licx file. That is considered normal behavior for Visual Studio although I suppose could be annoying when using source control.

I had a feeling it was something the VS was doing. It really is annoying.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 10 days ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
