SyntaxEditor v4.0 Beta Available for Purchase - SyntaxEditor for Windows Forms Forum

We've just made the SyntaxEditor v4.0 beta as well as the .NET Languages Add-on available for purchase so that early adoptors of the new version can get it now.

We also did not bump up prices as much as originally thought. A SyntaxEditor control license is only $20 more than v3.1.

The binary enterprise license for the .NET Languages Add-on is $199.95 and the blueprint license for that is an extra $499.95. We have started work on a VB.NET implementation that will be added to the add-on soon. Prices will not go up when VB.NET is added. The add-on also includes a year of updates for free so anyone buying now will get the VB.NET enhancement for free when it is done.

In addition, we are giving the add-on's enterprise license for free to anyone who purchases a site or enterprise license of SyntaxEditor. Anyone who purchases a blueprint license of SyntaxEditor will receive the blueprint license of the add-on for free as well.

Oh and more good news, we cut all the blueprint license prices in half.

If you are an existing owner of SyntaxEditor and would like to upgrade to v4.0, please go to the Organization Purchases page in Customer Relations to see if you are eligible for a free upgrade. If you are, there will be a link that you can click to request the upgrade. If you are not eligible, then you can purchase the upgrade on our purchase page.

Just to help answer any questions... anyone who buys the 4.0 beta now will get the 4.0 final release and any 4.0 maintenance releases for free that come out in the future.

Please note that the .NET Languages Add-on is its own product. It has two purchasing options, an Enterprise license and a Blueprint (source code) license.

The Enterprise license covers everyone in your organization and includes a year of free upgrades.

Most importantly, the add-on Enterprise license may be purchased even if you only have a single developer license for SyntaxEditor. We wanted to keep the pricing options for the add-on as straightforward and cheap as possible, and make it available to companies of all sizes that use SyntaxEditor.

We've had some customers ask whether they needed an Enterprise license of SyntaxEditor in order to purchase the add-on. The answer is no, anyone with any valid license of SyntaxEditor can purchase the Enterprise license of the add-on.
