HTML, CSS and JS Syntax Highlight on a PHP file.

Code Writer App Suggestions and Support Forum

Hi, I was working on a PHP script of mine and noticed a thing that bothered me a little.

As PHP files may contain HTML, CSS and JS, I've noticed that these languages do not get their own syntax highlightning on a PHP file.

It would be better if they do. It's just weird to look at them with no syntax highlight.

Hi Julius,

Thanks for writing.  Could you point us to an example PHP file online that shows all of the variations in use in a single file?  Then we can use that to see where improvements can be made.

As for the colors, they could use the same colors Code Writer uses for HTML, CSS and JS on their respectives files.

Hi Julius,

We've updated the PHP file type to have full syntax highlighting for HTML, CSS, and scripting.  Along with color previews too.  This will be in the upcoming v1.5.
