exception while using the ribbon:ColorPickerGallery - Ribbon for WPF Forum

Version: 12.2.0573

Platform: .NET 4.5

Environment: Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hi,

I get this below mentioned error sometime.

{"Cannot convert string 'pack://application:,,,/actiprosoftware.ribbon.wpf;component/Products/Ribbon/Images/Help16.png' in attribute 'Source' to object of type 'System.Windows.Media.ImageSource'. Could not load file or assembly 'actiprosoftware.ribbon.wpf, Culture=neutral' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Error at object 'System.Windows.Controls.ControlTemplate' in markup file 'dll;component/Themes/Includes/Styles/ScreenTip.xaml' Line 86 Position 12."}

The app starts work correctly after trying to use it 2 are 3 times.

This is not reproducible after that. Keeps coming up in different machines new app is released.

Please let me know if something has to be taken care.

Hi Rithesh,

We haven't really heard of that happening before. It sounds like the WPF resource resolver isn't able to find or load up the Ribbon assembly. Have you done anything odd like rename our assemblies or use a program like ILMerge?

The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 2 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
