When the Windows taskbar is set to autohide and the ribbonwindow is maximized, the taskbar doesn't appear anymore...
I saw that this bug was introduced again but when will it be fixed ?
Hello, yes that is something we're aware of but have been unable to work around thus far without introducing other issues such as black borders around the window when in Aero mode. More info in this post.
Do you mean you will NEVER fix it ?
We certainly would like to however thus far, in order to fix that issue, we have to break some other things like Aero snap or have bad things start happening like Windows rendering native "classic" title bar buttons on title bar mouse down. Microsoft's low-level Windows API related to doing custom theming (once you add Aero glass support into the mix) is extremely finicky, and a number of the issues we run into are well documented on the web. This item is on our TODO list to continue to try and make work somehow though.
We put a bunch more hours into trying some other things yesterday and I think we were able to come up with a viable workaround to this issue. The updates will be in the 2013.2 version.
