Licensing issue with Docking/WPF

I encounter licensing issues when I deploy a WPF app that uses Actipro Docking WPF. I was able to solve them but two questions remain:

>does the license file name is licence.txt or licence.licx?

>How important is the version number of the assembly in the licencse file?

By the way: Please make the popup window that display "Evaluation version" resizable or closable - I always have to use task manager when using a low resolution to close it (which is a little anoying).

Kind regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

The licenses.licx file must be exactly as it is named since that is what Visual Studio and MSBuild look for when embedding license data in your apps.  It also must be included as an Embedded Resource.

Version numbers need to be kept in sync as well when you do updates.  Otherwise, Microsoft's license compiler won't find the license data.

Also the popup window is closable and has a button at the bottom to close it.
