Hi!

How can I set CodeWriter to be my deafult .ps1 editor? By default scripts are opened with notepad.exe, but CodeWriter does not pop-up as being a compatible app, neither can I chose it manually, as there is no visible .exe that I could associate it with.

All help is appreciated,

Hello,

While we would like to support Code Writer as a default editor for .ps1 files as we do for other known file types, unfortunately doing this is not allowed by Microsoft.  This article on MSDN explains that Windows Store apps aren't permitted to become default handlers for the .ps1 file extension (and several others like .bat):
