processor: nvidia tegra 4 quad core 1.71GHz running with windows rt 8.1 (nordic)

Application installation from ms store gives error:

Could not install application with error 0x80070002 and wants to either retry or cancel installation.

After five retries it installed but during launch the program claims that:

Cannot open application. more information about the application in ms store. Go to Store.

And the store seems to be in a limbo and the application page does nothing.

This happens to re-installations. It used to run when windows rt 8.0 was installed. Seems that upgrade to windows rt 8.1 might have caused the application to fail.

Hi Petri,

I'm sorry you are having trouble.  It should run fine in Windows 8.1 as we and many others have been using it in 8.1 for months now.  Whatever the problem is, it seems to be more low-level than what we can help with.  Since the problems seem to be due to something with the Windows Store installation, I would suggest that you contact Microsoft with as much detail as you can provide.  We'd love to hear the result of what they tell you for future reference though.

As you said, not your problem. This was all the way microsofts failure to update all the components correctly from W8 to W8.1

The problem can be solved with the "apps troubleshooter" from the link below. It re-registers the windows store with defaults. That then allows the user to re-install the app properly. Its really nice that they meed to create a fixer for a fix to make the software work (a huge bun intented)!!

Thank you!
