Hi,

I would like to ask, whether it is possible to float a window placed inside StandardMdiHost. Also is it possible to prevent windows from flowing over edges of the visible area?

Thank you,

Martin.

Hi Martin,

Sorry but only tabbed MDI supports floating.  Standard (windowed) MDI does not.

While I don't believe there's anything to prevent the windows from going past the visible area, there is an option for allowing the visible area to be scrollable (scrollbars show as needed).  There also is built-in functionality to cascade or tlie windows that the end user can invoke via menu items you provide.
