Hello, I observe that syntax editor shows incorect vertical scrollbar when some regions in a code are collapsed.

Please see this screenshot for details - the thumb has very small hight for displayed text amount:

It is just SyntaxEditor with loaded file:

Version 2016 doesn't have this issue and it calculates thumb size correctly.

Hello,

Yes we know that the scrollbar thumb calculations aren't quite as accurate in the newer codebase when there are collapsed regions.  We do have a TODO item to look into improving this, and I'll add your request to that TODO item.

Hello!

We have the same issue:

  1. http://joxi.ru/bmo96a7fyEPexA
  2. http://joxi.ru/YmE01L7TMaOY4r

Were you able to solve this problem?

Hello,

I'm sorry but we haven't done any more work in that area yet.

Hello, thank you for your answer!

When do you plan to fix this issue?

Or can I somehow fix the behavior of the SyntaxEditor myself?

It is very important for us.

Thanks!

Hi Sergei,

We don't have a specific date at this time.  Looking into it is a relatively high priority item on the SyntaxEditor TODO list, but there are some other items ahead of it.  It will probably require a large refactoring of how we track everything related to scrolling internally, so unfortunately it's not something that can be changed easily or externally.
