Code Writer red-underlines things like "await", "async" and for-of loops, and indents after a line which doesn't end with a ;

Hi Joe,

Thanks for writing.  Yes, the JavaScript parser is still on an older version of the ECMAScript standard where those syntax mechanisms weren't valid yet.  We have a TODO item to update the parser to a more recent version and I've logged your request with that.  We will try to get this updated in the coming months.
