Screen hides document momentarily when viewing frame by frame - Docking/MDI for WPF Forum

Platform: .NET 4.7

Environment: Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an MDI application. When recording tutorial videos I notice some flickering when documents are added. First I see some animation on the size of the tab. I would disable the animation. Next I actually see the entire view disappear for a few frames before re-appearing. How can I remove the flickering?

I just noticed the IsTabLayoutAnimationEnabled property which I have now set. I am going to re-build and re-record to see the difference.

Hi Michael,

The only animation should be the tab layout, which you have already identified how to disable. Any other flicker could simply be the WPF layout system kicking in to make space for the new control and then render its contents.
