Backward compability to older versions?

Hello,

I have used the Actipro Software WPF with version 22.1.4 for an old project. Since I have no more this version installed, I've installed the latest version 23.1.2. I am not sure, what has been changed there and if these old projects are able to run?

Does this version allows a backward compability to older versions? If not, is there a way to download the older version?

Thanks in advise. :o)

Hello,

There should be almost no breaking changes from v23.1.2 to v22.1.4.  The main breaking change would be the .NET version target changes, which may not affect you.  The conversion guide is here:

https://www.actiprosoftware.com/docs/controls/wpf/conversion/converting-to-v23-1

v23.1 added a new Bars product with a Ribbon control implementation and more, that is intended to eventually replace the older Ribbon product.  The older Ribbon still ships in v23.1 for compatibility.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.2) was released 4 days ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
