I just installed CODE WRITER but prefer not to have it in my system tray and I want to create a DESKTOP shortcut instead.

When I go to the library (C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ActiproSoftwareLLC.562882FEEB491_4.2.42.0_x64__24pqs290vpjk0) I do see the CODEWRITER .exe but the shortcut I create from it is invalid and issues this error message: https://imgur.com/a/9xdsRb8

What is the best way to create a valid shortcut for CODE WRITER?

Thanks,
Dan

Hello,

When I held Shift+RightClick on the CodeWriter.exe in that folder and selected "Create Shortcut" it asked to put it on the desktop and I selected Yes.  Then the shortcut worked for me when clicking it on the desktop.  I'm sorry but I'm not sure why Windows would show that error message in your screenshot.
