When installing the SyntaxEditor Web-Addon via a drop onto a machine it will throw up the evaluation screen even though the component which uses it is correctly licensed and built. I have tracked it down to the Web-Addon requiring the Actipro registry entries under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. If the registry entries exist it works fine, without them you get the eval screen. This is contrary to how the SyntaxEditor control behaves.

Hi Colin,

Please email us and we will help you sort out the issue. Because you are NOT allowed to install those registry keys on end user machines. If the licensing is set up correctly for your app, you won't see a popup for the add-on on end user machines, even without the registry keys.
