Hei,

As I read from this website, there seems to be no support for VS.NET 2008 to use Ribbon-WPF? I downloaded the trailer file Ribbon v.1.0.0348-WPF.zip and tried to run the SampleApplication-CSharp demo with VS.NET 2008. It worked fine. However, when I customed a very simple application using xaml code of RibbonWindow and also reference to the dll files as instruction in ReadMe file, then I run it inside VS.NET 2008, it showed this Exception report:

System.NullReferenceException was unhandled
Message="Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Hi, thanks for writing. We'll check it out to see what is causing it.

While I believe that Ribbon v1.0 will show up in the VS 2008 designer right now, there isn't a good way to edit it in the designer. However editing it via XAML and using VS 2008's intellisense will work fine.

The exciting news is that we are currently finishing up a very huge new version of Ribbon and we've been working on adding designer support to it. We are targeting a release of this new version in mid-December. Expect some very big new features in this major update.

Thanks for the sample project. We've found the issue and posted a maintenance release build 349. Please uninstall what you have and install that. It should fix the bug. Let us know if you have any other problems.
