Find from beginning

Is there a way to use the FindReplace.Find method so that it searches from the beginning of a document. I have done it by moving the caret to the top and then submitting the search. However, when I do that the document is scrolled (briefly) to the top of the doc. This looks goofy, especially when no match is found and you set the caret back.

Note that I am using the latest 1.x version and will not be able to use a 2.x product if this has been added since 1.x.
