how can I do or feature request: AutoOverwrite - Editors for WPF Forum

Well done, the Actipro Editors for WPF are really neat.

I have one feature I am missing. I use currently the Editors from DevComponents,
They have an AutoOverwrite property. This setting makes the Editpart always selected to overwrite (internally they have a timer to allow the full amount of digits typed).
So an Editpart is always fully blue and the entry is replaced, no cursor hassle.

Please implement such a feature as well or tell me how can I do that.
I'd like this on all editors, mostly though on dates
(the cursor inside a part is rather annoying there).

Hi Christoph,

We do have the feature on our TODO list already, but won't make it into the WPF Studio 5.0 release. Hopefully we can add this for the release after 5.0, but I can't say for sure just yet.

if i am not mistaken, the auto-overwrite with maintained part-selection is still not available?

That is correct, we have not implemented this feature at this time.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.2) was released 2 days ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
