I have a 64-bit system and even though my XML files are in:
Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\en
it doesn't find them unless I put them in the 64-bit path which is:
Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\
I don't know how you're retrieving the path but I think whatever mechanism you're using is pointing you to the 64-bit path which doesn't contain the xml documentation files. Can you provide an update to ensure you're using the base 32-bit path which does contain the xml files? Also, to avoid these kinds of additional situations, what if you expose a property that would allow for adding additional search paths for this documentation?
