Customizing propertygrid column layout - Grids for WPF Forum

Version: 9.1.0503

How can I modify the column layout of the property grid items. We would like to switch between 2-column (name/value) items and single-column items (a property editor without the NameTemplate in a separate predefined column).

The behavior we're looking for closely resembles Expression Blend and it's property editors for Color,Brush,RenderTransform,Projection etc.

Hi Valery,

We have support for "Category Editors", which allow you to build that type of functionality. There is a QuickStart under the PropertyGrid section in our Sample Browser that shows this in action.

The basic idea is that you can use more complex editors, such as a color picker, to modify various properties.
