I'm wondering if the outlining could be used to reformat a piece of source code? Just like Visual studio does with the menu options "Format document" and "Format Selection" does.

Or is there maybe even a better way of doing something like this?

Right now the best way is to just replace the text with formated text. We would like to discuss some formatting features in the chat on Wednesday. If you are interested in participating, please read the forum posting about the chat on how to sign up.

Thanks for the info.

Maybe it is a nice idea to make a poll to determine the most popular features, so developers that can not participate in the chat can also provide insight in what is wanted.

My wish list currently contains:

- the options to re-format source
- code snippet support / macro support
- more IntelliSense features, like:
- IntelliSense on source code in the current document
- token identifier for parameter structures

Kind regards,

Hi Erik,

Can you go into more detail on some of your wish list items, like what exactly you'd like to see in terms of features and implementation for each?
