Bug with IntelliPromptParameterInfo location - SyntaxEditor for Windows Forms Forum

Version: 4.0.0283

Platform: .NET 2.0

Environment: Windows Vista (32-bit)

Normally if you specify an offset to IntelliPromptParameterInfo.Show the tooltip will show below that offset. But if the tooltip would extend below the bottom of the screen, for example if it spans multiple lines, then it shows ABOVE the offset. This is the correct behavior except that it doesn't move it up a line, so it ends up covering the text you're typing.

We actually already have an update for this in the code ready for the next maintenance release since another customer recently brought it up. Thanks for posting though.

Sounds good - I look forward to the release.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 1 month ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
