BarTextBoxCommand problem with non-US keyboard layout - Bars for Windows Forms Forum

Environment: Windows XP (32-bit)

Hi,

We have a problem with BarTextBoxCommand control when using with French keyboard layout. It is impossible to type any symbols with "AltGr" (right Alt) key to this text box control.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Configure your OS language setting adding new language - French with French keyboard layout.
2. Start Bar Controls sample application.
3. Switch input language to French
4. Try to type symbols like \ (AltGr-8) into "Search" editbox at toolbar.

P.S. The same problem with LeftAlt + numpad character code.

Oleg,

I tried configuring the French keyboard and it appears that it thinks you are trying to do an accelerator key (alt combination). We'll have to look in how to identify that this is a character combination instead.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.0) was released 2 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
