Compress-feature for PHP-files?

Hi,

I really like the compress-feature of SpiderWriter, but it does not work with php-documents ... all tags keep untouched.

Doesn't SW recognize the tags, or isn't it possible to compress php-code, too?

PHP tags are left untouched by design. The same goes for other server scripting languages. The compress feature is currently only designed to compress HTML although an enhancement to handle server side scripting is a possibility in the future.

The latest build of this product (v5.2.0) was released 24 years ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
