It would be nice if IE could show up in a window outside Spider writer's one- like Netscape's one has to. I have multiple monitors, and prefer to have one screen just for the page, the others for menu things etc. The Spider's menu strip wastes such an enormous amount of space- even when ALL menu's are transferred to another screen, there still remains an enormous tab (about 150 pixels high!) with the nice, informing message "Empty".... Or is this just a sort of private joke between you...
Anyway, no space for IE to show a nice, helpful screen. Pity, especially those quickies to the 800 and the 1024 screen are absolutely fabulous.
Oh yes... Why can't you split the screen VERTICALLY as well as horizontally??!

Just an idea!

Paul,

What might work best for you is to set up IE as an external application in the Settings dialog. Then when you call it, it will act just like Netscape does, opening in a new window.

Hope this helps!
