restrict toolwindow docking - Docking/MDI for WPF Forum

I have a split container with two tool window containers.

After a tool window is floated and you select the dock menu item it will be docked to its previous container.
But is there a way to also restrict the tool window to be docked only in its original container when it is dragged over the two containers?

Hi Mary,

Sorry, that's not currently possible. Technically the original container may be removed at any time, as other windows are moved around. So it would be difficult to enforce that kind of restriction.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 2 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
