Can i parse and add my own xml elements into the saved xml layout(Serialize xml) of the docksite ?

Current version which i am using is (Product Version) : V11.1.0545

I want to add one more question to the above asked : Does this version of actipro support the prism functionality or i have to add the Prism Dll manually from the CodePlex ?

Hi Keshav,

Yes you can add any custom data you may want to include with the XML. We don't have a demo of that for Docking & MDI, but we do have one for Navigation. Specifically you should look at the NavigationBar Layout Save/Load QuickStart. This applies to the NavigationBar, but the same concepts apply for the DockSite serializer.

We do have Prism support in that version, for both version 2.2 and 4.0. But for the latter version, you must build the Docking/Prism Interop manually and provide the Prism assemblies manually as well, because we currently target .NET 3.5. Our Interop assembly is available on CodePlex.
