In this case I'm looking at the Code Snippet area. I highlight a code snippet and click on the edit snippet icon. I can click into the edit boxes just fine and the OK button seems to work too. however.. when I click Cancel after doing this... my Spider Writer seems to freeze up. When I switch to another running application then switch back to Spider Writer, I have control again in Spider Writer.

Any ideas?

I'm running Windows 98se with IE6.0
On a 450mhz PII with 384mb ram.
I have the following applications running:
SW v5.2
2 windows of IE6.0
NotePad
Windows Explorer
24 short cut icons in my Windows Quick toolbar (taskbar toolbar)
Running In the Windows System Tray:
Intellipoint Mouse control
Yellow Speaker (volume control)
Adaptec DirectDC Wizard
Norton AntiVirus
Personal Web Server
Popup Window Killer
HP Disc Detector
SB Live! Controls
AIM
Yahoo Instant Messager

I wasn't able to duplicate this. I opened the editor, clicked around, and pressed Cancel and everything worked as expected. Does this always happen to you, even after rebooting?

Of course you can't.. <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0"> It seems for the momemt, I can't either.

Anyway, I also wanted to point out a similar situation moving the "Coolbar" controls off the tab dialog to another part of the toolbar area, I get a similar issue of loosing focus. If I click away, (ie. click on the windows taskbar) then come back to SW, click on the "coolbar" control to reposition it in organized rows.. it works fine this way.

I'll continue to keep an eye on these issues.

Thanks, Jim
