Blank lines in source code - Spider Writer Suggestions and Support Forum

The latest build of this product (v5.2.0) was released 23 years ago, which was before this thread was created.

Seems to be adding lots (20 to 30) of blanks lines to my source code ... in between many of the exisitng lines. Due to original formatting, my lines are long and so I need to use the horizontal slider ... but these extra blank lines make editing extremely difficult. Ideas?

The WYSIWYG editor control that we use from Microsoft does have that problem sometimes. You can change an option in the Settings dialog under "Display Options" which helps with that I believe.

Problem seems to have been rooted in left-over webbot lines from Front Page. Removed these and then ran a replace of \n\n\n with just \n and a little more cleanup, and things are stable now. <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0">
