Auto-hide over complex document window - Docking/MDI for Windows Forms Forum

We have a 'Start page' in our app that is a static .bmp that contains embedded web browser controls. When this page is displayed and you auto-show a toolwindow that is docked on the right hand side, there is a significant amount of stutter in the window during the painting process. When a document tab is selected that just contains a SyntaxEditor control and then you auto-show the toolwindow there is no stutter at all. Don't know if you're double-buffering the toolwindows on slideout/slidein so I don't know how complex this issue might be. If you want to throw together a small project that shows this, we can take a look. However I'm not sure if there's much we can do since the layout/drawing of the web browser controls is outside of anything we can double buffer. Seeing it in action would give us a better idea. You might have to resort to lowering the number of auto-hide show/hide steps if this is significantly slow for that control.
