Is there a feature to convert selection to a "STRING" - Code Writer App Suggestions and Support Forum

Version: 3.2.28

Hello,

Is there any feature within this amazing app that will let me convert a selection to a string?

For instance, copying/pasting certain data into a code to hard code it into the utility and having a feature to simply put it into double quotes, e.g. 2.201 -> "2.201".

Hi Logan,

While we don't have that, a lot of languages do auto-complete on typing double quotes. So you could type a double-quote and if the file type has that feature, it will insert another double quote after the caret. Then press Ctrl+V and the pasted text will go in the middle.
