Great news… a new language add-on for JavaScript, specifically the ECMAScript 5.1 standard, is coming to SyntaxEditor.  Let's take a first look:

JavaScript

In this screenshot, you can see features like syntax error reporting and code outlining active.  This new language will allow you to instantly plug in an advanced JavaScript editing experience to your apps that use SyntaxEditor.

The advanced JavaScript language will be added to the Web Languages Add-on in the 2013.2 version of SyntaxEditor!

Thank you Bill. And the last question is can I buy Blueprint license of Web Languages Add-on if I already have WPF Studio license, but haven't Enterprise license of Web Languages Add-on? Thank you!

Hi Danill, No you need to have an Enterprise license for the add-on as well. At the moment it's only $99 though. Also keep in mind that the JavaScript language won't be included until the 2013.2 version, which isn't out yet but should be in a couple months or so.

Thank you very much Bill! In my case I need XML support too. :) And how I understand the Blueprint license includes updates for year so there no any risk to buy now and get update with JavaScript support in the future.

That is correct, you'll get JavaScript rolled in with the 2013.2 update if you purchase now.
